BMW Ghost Immobiliser

The Ghost uses the CAN data bus to communicate with your vehicle. This prevents thieves from replacing the ECU or adding a new lock to bypass the security system.

Our BMW ghost immobiliser, a new generation device, does not require cutting OEM wires or add key fobs or alarms from the aftermarket. It is connected to the BMW CAN data network and is programmed with an unique PIN code that can be accessible through buttons on your car. Anti-Hijack

Ghost created this subtle, unobtrusive device to combat the increasing sophistication of hi-tech thieves. It is designed to prevent thieves from adding a key or replacing the ECU to start your car and drive it off. Ghost connects to your CAN data network, and utilizes the buttons within your vehicle (steering wheel and centre console, as well as door panels) to create an individual push sequence that requires to be entered before the engine can start.

Ghost can also stop the 'Relay-style Frequency amplification'. Ghost can help you prevent this theft by installing a device called Secure-A Key in your vehicle. The device is installed inside the key fob of your vehicle and then disconnects the battery after a few inactive minutes. This can be accomplished with the majority of modern PKE keys.
