Its intelligent navigation is enhanced by iRobot OS technology and PrecisionVision which allows the robot to detect common objects in its path--such as pet waste or cords--and stay clear of them completely. The iRobot Combo j7+ can even avoid furniture, such as tall chairs with backs that could trap the robot beneath them.

When the iRobot Combo j7+ detects that it is on a surface that needs to be cleaned the robot arm raises and moves the mopping pad beneath it. It was a very intuitive system that worked well in my testing. It was not able to remove water-based liquids such like juice or wine. Fortunately the mopping pad could be easily cleaned and reused.

The iRobot Combo's front camera is also quite useful. It can spot potential hazards like power cables and pet waste, and will steer clear of them to ensure a thorough cleaning. This feature is more effective than the cameras on other robot vacuums, as they frequently get caught up in things like rug tassels. It's important to note, however, that the iRobot Combo ju7+'s front camera is prone to blind spots, and can miss certain objects.

The iRobot Combo ju7+ may be costly but its performance is high enough to justify the price. It has a very high satisfaction rating and customers appreciate its innovative features. They have an efficient obstacle avoidance system that doesn't move small, light objects like socks or toys around the floor. It's one of the best mopping robots we've tested. It also comes with a magnetic strip that can be used to block off areas the robot won't be in a position to reach like rooms with a lot of cables.

The robot is, however, short of other features of its kind. While the mop does a great job, their maximum running time is 60 minutes, which is a little lower than what we'd expect to see on such a high-end product. It also doesn't automatically empty itself into its charging station or follow up mopping sessions with the quick vacuum.

It's a great choice for those with big homes, as the cleaning and mapping process are quick and efficient. The app is simple to use, and it allows you to make schedules. You can still use the remote to control the device if you do not want to connect to an extremely strong WIFI connection.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision may be expensive however its numerous smart features make up for it. The live monitoring feature for homes is excellent and also looks amazing. It can also create customized cleaning routines that you initiate by tapping, such as an "After Meals mode" which systematically cleans and vacuums the kitchen floors.

This two-in-one has an exclusive feature that isn't found on other robots: VibraRise, which raises the mopping plates when it detects carpeting so it doesn't let area rugs get wet, making mopping more efficient. It also comes with an advanced cleaning feature that vacuums and mops carpets in a single move, taking out dirt and dust more effectively than spinning mops. You can also make use of the app to create a schedule for weekly cleaning or clean on the go.

The S7 Max Ultra is a excellent device for its intended purposes however, it has certain drawbacks. The price is the most significant. It's also the most expensive robotic mop and vacuum combination I've ever reviewed. Other issues aren't specific to this model, but more representative of the robotic vacuums in general: it doesn't handle heavy spills or large sticky messes with ease.
